DBR at Natcon 2011

Finally from the Natcon 2011 weekend, four photos of a couple of tables in play in the DBR competition.

    You have a photo of some Scots artillery shown.

    Interestingly, on the last day two Scots armies faced off. Each was well supported by a great array of artillery. Perhaps around 16 model artillery pieces were deployed in total.

    In one of the battles pictured, a large body of Scots horse were formed on each flank. On one wing the Scots cavalry were armed with pistol and carbine while the other lance. The lance armed horse were dispatched in short order by a Royalist cavalry charge. The other flank were initially more problematic but eventually broke as well.
